UMPICTURES is a studio set up by Haotian Liu in 2015. At the start, it mainly focused on post-production.
Since 2019, Haotian Liu has put together a new team, and UMPICTURES has started taking on more jobs.
It now makes short films and also does things like poster design. As a small studio, it’s mostly run by Haotian Liu.
Along with him, there are also poster designers and code technicians on the team.

Haotian Liu is a young director, independent filmmaker who’s born in northeast of China. He is currently
working on documentaries and short films. His latest documentary film Kiss the Wind has been selected into
more than 10 domestic and world-wide film festivals such as Beijing International Short Film Festival
and Chinese Documentary Academy Awards. Haotian has many years of film production experience
and he is involved in the curation of various projects.
